Jane Thornton

Business Analysis, Test Strategy and Execution

Jane's ability to operate at both the strategic and hands-on levels makes her a versatile team member who can move seamlessly between roles on a project. Roles Jane has performed in the past include Business Analyst, various testing roles from Senior Test Lead to Test Manager, Document Writer, Trainer, and Production Support.


More recently, Jane has been an integral part of an agile software development delivery team following the scrum methodology and successfully implementing the redevelopment of an agency’s two public facing systems. She has extensive experience in the areas of managing system and user acceptance testing including the development of associated test artefacts and in particular user documentation, and the provision of user training courses where she has conducted training sessions for over 200 staff.


Jane has strong communication skills that she has developed through building and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders at all levels. She has demonstrated these skills through her interactions with other users, developers, vendors and management across varied complex IT environments.
